#21- Go to a karaoke bar

This was easy because once my friend Patrice decided to have a karaoke party for her 30th birthday, I knew there was no way I’d miss it. Great time!! 🙂

#4- Complete Master’s program

I did it!!

I’ve earned my Master’s degree.  It is a great feeling to have finally gone back and now finished! I received an MAT- Master of Art in Teaching- with a concentration in early childhood education from Walden University.  I did the program online which was great in terms of convenience but still a lot of work!  When you take online courses, you do a LOT of writing because that’s basically the only way to prove that you’re doing the coursework.  I wrote so many papers week after week.  Before I started, I’d actually started to miss writing but now I am tired of it.  And as much as I love the internet, I also got tired of all those online class discussions. 🙂

Anyway, it’s all over now! I finished with a 3.93 GPA. A pretty happy ending! Thank you God!!

#76- Go to the beach

Also easy to do in Jamaica! 🙂

The beach on our resort was so pretty and very relaxed.  It was adult only so it always felt very quiet and romantic.

#12- Go on a carribbean vacation

Last week, Scott and I celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary with a trip to Ocho Rios, Jamaica. We had an amazing time!! Jamaica was beautiful and our resort, Couples San Souci, was breathtaking.  It was so nice to get away and enjoy beautiful views, good food, fun parties, and time in the water.  I can’t wait for another vacation!

#68- Go to a music concert

Scott and I went to the Jay Z Blueprint tour concert a few weeks ago on Scott’s birthday weekend. It was a GREAT show. We’ve been to a few concerts at the Philips Arena in Atlanta but we’ve never seen one that was so packed! We had great seats on the floor and had a really fun night. Trey Songz and Young Jeezy were there as well. Next week, we’re going to see Alicia Keys for the second time and  I can’t wait!
